Thank you for visiting and shopping at Sour Me Sweet Confectionery!

When choosing shipping times, please note that it can take 1 - 3 business days processing your package depending on package volume at the time and the shipping time chosen will begin once shipped. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. Please also be aware that when shipping in the summer time, that there is the chance of items that have the capacity to melt to be affected by the warmer weather and therefor it is at the buyers risk to ship items during warmer periods. Also, when shipping beverages there is the possibility that the item can jostle, build pressure or break during shipping and for this reason, it is at the buyers risk to ship as well. 

**Also, please note, that in the event attempted deliveries unsuccessfully have occurred and the item is shipped back to the store, this will be at the buyers expense. If the package is needing to be resent, this will incur an extra shipping charge to resend.   

At the moment, we are shipping within Canada and to the United States. (If Shipping to the U.S. and Duty is found to be applicable during the shipping process, the customer is responsible for this charge.) Please also note that if choosing the delivery method of Small Packet USA Air as this is a more economical option for smaller packages, this service does not offer tracking or insurance if the package is lost or damaged. However, other delivery options will be available at check out should you wish to track or have insurance on your package.

The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our shipping policy


Rates for shipping are based on shipping location, size, and weight of package. This rate will be calculated at checkout. 

**Please note, we do not take responsibility for any damages that may occur during shipping, as once it leaves our shop, we no longer have control over how the product is handled and it is at the buyers risk and bears ownership of any issues that may arise. This applies to theft of packages after delivery as well. 


For Local Pick-Up Orders, an email notification and/or phone message will be given once the package is ready for pick-up. Processing for Local Pick-Up will generally be completed within 24 hours after the order has been placed so long as there are no issues on availability of items in the order. For orders containing Gift Boxes, these orders will be completed Monday to Friday as they are made to order. 

If there is an item not available in the order, we will confirm with you first if you wish to substitute or remove the item from the order.   


Deliveries take place Monday to Friday.


**We offer Local Delivery in 4 Zones. There is a flat rate fee for this service. If your address falls within a specific zone, the delivery option will pop up at check out. The following delivery zones are:

$10.49 for Dartmouth, Bedford, Armdale, Burnside and Clayton Park, Fairmount, Armdale

Orders for delivery are processed Monday - Friday. If you have any preferences for a delivery date, please make a note specifying a day or any special instructions and we will confirm.
